Gum disease is an infection in the gum tissues and bone that keep your teeth in place. It is one of the leading causes of adult tooth loss. If diagnosed early, it can be treated and reversed.Gum Disease can affect more than your oral health. Current Research indicates “there is evidence that bacteria in the mouth which are associated with gum disease, may be linked to heart disease, artery blockages and stroke.”

If you're diagnosed with periodontal disease, Dr. Kwan may recommend gum surgery. Gum surgery is necessary if we determine that the tissue around your teeth is unhealthy and cannot be repaired with non-surgical treatment. • Pocket Reduction Procedures
  • Regenerative Procedures
  • Crown Lengthening
  • Soft Tissue Grafts
